Line Dancing

Line dancing is a choreographed dance style in which a group of people perform a repeating sequence of steps while arranged in one or more lines or rows. Historically and closely tied to country-and-western music—particularly during a massive mainstream surge in the 1990s—it has since evolved into a global phenomenon that incorporates a wide variety of musical genres, including soul, pop, hip-hop, and R&B.
