Liz Phair is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter who began in early 1990s Chicago, self-releasing Girly-Sound cassettes. She signed to Matador and released 1993’s Exile In Guyville, a bold, candid debut ranked by Rolling Stone and Pitchfork.

Sleater-Kinney

Sleater-Kinney emerged from Olympia, WA in 1994. Their 1997 landmark album Dig Me Out was named to Rolling Stone’s The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. After a decade-long hiatus, they returned with No Cities To Love (2015).
