Salt Lake City's Krooked Kings, an indie rock band formed by college friends, creates authentic, introspective music. Known for their unpolished sound, they explore the coming-of-age experience, partly inspired by members leaving their Mormon faith. Popular songs include "Sick of Being Young" and "'96 Subaru". Albums like "The Comedown", "All Out of Good Days", and "In Another Life" (2026) have amassed over 70 million streams.

Local Natives

Southern California band Local Natives broke through with 2009 debut Gorilla Manor, blending complex rhythms and soaring harmonies. Hummingbird (2013) was produced by Aaron Dessner. “When Am I Gonna Lose You” hit Billboard Alternative Top 10.
