Jazz drummer, bandleader and composer Allison Miller leads Boom Tic Boom and co-leads Artemis. She’s worked with Brandi Carlile and Natalie Merchant. Her album Rivers In Our Veins is a 12-song cycle about rivers, featuring Jenny Scheinman and Ben Goldberg.

Myra Melford

Jazz pianist and composer Myra Melford, born in Evanston, Illinois, is known for her virtuosic improvisation and spiritual focus. Emerging in 1990 with her trio's debut "Jump," she gained international acclaim by 1996. Influenced by Don Pullen and Henry Threadgill, Melford has collaborated with Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Allison Miller's Boom Tic Boom, and more. Notable works include "Dance Beyond the Color" and "Snowy Egret." Awards include a Guggenheim Fellowship and a Doris Duke Artist Award. She’s also recognized for incorporating global influences, having studied in India on a Fulbright scholarship.

Dayna Stephens

Dayna Stephens, born in the San Francisco Bay Area, is a tenor saxophonist known for his post-bop style, influenced by Wayne Shorter and Joe Henderson. He has collaborated with jazz greats like Kenny Barron and Brad Mehldau and released notable albums such as "Gratitude" and "Right Now! Live at the Village Vanguard." Despite battling FSG, he has continued to perform, earning acclaim for his harmonically rich and textural sound.
