Luz Casal

Spanish vocalist Luz Casal, born in Baimorto, La Coruña, is a Rock en Español icon known for her versatility in pop, folk, and classical music. Rising to fame with hits like "Entre Mis Recuerdos" and "Besaré el Suelo," she achieved international stardom, earning multi-platinum success. Casal overcame breast cancer and released "Vida Tóxica," inspired by her journey. Awarded France's National Order of Arts and Letters, she's collaborated with Latin Grammy winner Javier Limón. Luz initiated the Festival de la Luz to support cancer charities and continues to tour globally.
