Born in Texas, singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett helped pioneer alternative country and Americana with eclectic, genre-blending albums like his 1986 self-titled debut and Pontiac. Known for his dry wit and literate storytelling, he won a Grammy for Best Country Album for 1996's The Road to Ensenada.

Lisa Loeb

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter known for the 1994 Reality Bites hit Stay (I Missed You), the first No. 1 song by an unsigned artist. She’s released 15 studio albums, including five children’s albums, and founded The Camp Lisa Foundation.
