Grand Slam is an Irish-British hard rock band, initially formed in 1984 by Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott and guitarist Laurence Archer. Known for their high-energy, blues-infused style, the band reformed in 2016. Their discography includes albums like "Hit the Ground" and "Wheel of Fortune," featuring songs such as "Nineteen," "Military Man," and "There Goes My Heart." Bassist Rocky Newton has collaborated with Def Leppard.

Magnum

Magnum, formed in 1972 Birmingham by Tony Clarkin and Bob Catley, is known for melodic hard rock hits like "Chase the Dragon." They achieved UK Top Ten success with "Wings of Heaven" in 1988. Notable collaborators include Roger Taylor of Queen. Despite disbanding in 1995, they reunited in 2001 and enjoyed European success with albums like "Lost on the Road to Eternity" and "The Monster Roars." Longtime bassist Al Barrow was succeeded by Dennis Ward in 2020.
