A Grammy Award winner, he is widely recognized for his leading interpretations of Italian opera and late Romantic repertoire, as well as his work as a passionate perfume maker.
Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2, "Resurrection," is a monumental post-Romantic work composed between 1888-1894. Known for its massive orchestra, soloists, and chorus, it explores themes of life, death, and redemption with immense emotional power. It features the "Urlicht" movement and a choral finale inspired by Klopstock's hymn. Hailed as a musical monument, it ranks among history's greatest symphonies.
