Philadelphia rapper Malik B., a founding member of hip-hop legends The Roots, brought energy and grit to his rhymes. He appeared on their first four albums and collaborated with Mr. Green on 2015's "Unpredictable." Malik released his solo debut "Street Assault" in 2005, followed by the "Psychological EP." His contributions to the Roots' sound and legacy are celebrated in East Coast hip-hop.
