Marduk and Origin

Origin, hailing from Topeka, Kansas, is a technical death metal band known for fast, punishing tracks. Formed in 1997, their acclaimed albums include "Antithesis" and "Unparalleled Universe". Guitarist Paul Ryan remains an original member. Key collaborations are with Cryptopsy and Dying Fetus. Vocalist Jason Keyser joined in 2011. Their 2022 album "Chaosmos" marked their return to the studio.

Marduk, formed in 1990 in Sweden by guitarist Morgan Steinmeyer Håkansson, is renowned for its extreme black metal style emphasizing warfare and anti-Christian themes. Their well-regarded releases, including "Heaven Shall Burn...When We Are Gathered" and "Frontschwein," along with relentless touring, established them as a leading Scandinavian black metal act. Known for high-speed drumming and intense live performances, Marduk's iconic works like 2007's "Rom 5:12" earned critical acclaim. Despite controversies, they maintain fierce creativity, with albums like "Memento Mori" and collaborations with key band members like Devo Andersson.
