Nine Below Zero, formed in South London in 1977, fused Chicago blues with punk energy. Known for "Live at the Marquee," they worked with top producer Glyn Johns. Despite setbacks, including lineup changes, they reunited in 1990 to sold-out shows, maintaining their influence and stage presence.
Born in Galway, Mary Coughlan is a revered Irish singer known for her emotional depth in folk, blues, and jazz. Rising to fame with "Tired and Emotional," she's recorded 16 albums, including "Scars on the Calendar" with Erik Visser. Influenced by Billie Holiday and Edith Piaf, she's celebrated for her raw, powerful voice and personal resilience. Sober since 1993, Mary's life story and music continue to captivate audiences worldwide.
