Masayoshi Takanaka, born in Tokyo, gained fame in prog rock band Flied Egg, later joining the Sadistic Mika Band. Known for "Blue Lagoon" and "Rainbow Goblins," he collaborated with Lee Ritenour and Santana. His influential solo work spanned from Kitty Records to Lagoon Records. He continues to tour and celebrated his career's golden anniversary with a live show in 2021.
