Cam'ron, born Cameron Giles in Harlem, is renowned for his distinctive East Coast gangsta rap. He gained fame with collaborations alongside Big L and Mase, and a gold-certified debut album, *Confessions of Fire* (1998). His platinum album *Come Home with Me* (2002) featured hits like "Oh Boy" and "Hey Ma." Co-founding the Diplomats with Jim Jones, he reached cult status with *Purple Haze* (2004).
