Guitarist and singer-songwriter Matt Minglewood, born Roy Batherson in Moncton and raised in Cape Breton, blends blues, rock, and country. Launching his career in the '70s with the Minglewood Band, he earned three gold records and multiple awards, including the East Coast Music Association Lifetime Achievement Award. Initially with RCA, he later moved to Epic Records and went solo in 1984, releasing notable albums like *Me and the Boys* and *Drivin' Wheel* through the years.
