Norway's MAYHEM, pioneers of extreme metal, are celebrating their "40 Years of Mayhem" tour, headlining the 2025 Decibel Magazine Tour. Marduk, formed in 1990 in Sweden by guitarist Morgan Steinmeyer Håkansson, is renowned for its extreme black metal style emphasizing warfare and anti-Christian themes. Their well-regarded releases, including "Heaven Shall Burn...When We Are Gathered" and "Frontschwein," along with relentless touring, established them as a leading Scandinavian black metal act. Known for high-speed drumming and intense live performances, Marduk's iconic works like 2007's "Rom 5:12" earned critical acclaim.
