Melvin Seals, born in San Francisco, California, is a revered keyboardist known for his soulful Hammond B-3 organ. He pioneered "Jam Band Music" during his 18-year tenure with the Jerry Garcia Band, earning the nickname "Master of the Universe." Seals blends rock, blues, gospel, and R&B, and has collaborated with artists like Chuck Berry and Phil Lesh. His solo album "Melting Pot" showcases his genre-blending style.
Bella Rayne, a self-taught guitarist from North Carolina and Mendocino, California, blends jam band energy, Southern rock, grunge, and Americana. Known for her improvisational guitar and inspiring music education, she has shared stages with notable artists like Allman Betts Family Revival. Rayne was entrusted to play Jerry Garcia's "Alligator" guitar and lauded by Susan Tedeschi in Guitar World. She leads the Bella Rayne Band and has released singles.
