Metal Church

Metal Church, formed in San Francisco in 1980, pioneered American heavy metal, thrash, speed, and power metal. Known for aggressive riffs and soaring vocals, they released influential albums like "The Dark" and "Blessing in Disguise," featuring "Badlands." Inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame in 2020, their discography includes "Congregation of Annihilation" (2023) and the single "F.A.F.O." (2025). Guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof leads, joined by David Ellefson and Ken Mary.
