LineUp

Jean Sibelius was a Finnish composer of the late Romantic and early modern periods, widely regarded as his country's greatest composer. He is known for his significant contributions to symphonic and orchestral music, including his set of seven symphonies, the violin concerto, and symphonic tone poems such as Finlandia. His music drew heavily on Finnish myths and legends, particularly the epic poem Kalevala, and played an important role in the formation of the Finnish national identity.
Indiana’s Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1930 by Ferdinand Schaefer, performs about 200 concerts a year for 350,000 people. It has 30+ recordings across classical and pops, tours to Europe, and has appeared at Carnegie Hall.
Edvard Grieg, born in Bergen, Norway, was a Romantic composer celebrated for his distinct Norwegian nationalist style. His lyrical melodies and rich harmonies are heard in iconic works like the "Peer Gynt" Suite and the Piano Concerto in A minor. Grieg masterfully blended folk influences, establishing himself as a pivotal figure in classical music.
