Michael Schenker, born in Sarstedt, Germany, is a proto-metal guitar icon known for his work with UFO and Scorpions, his solo projects, and the Michael Schenker Group. His signature half-black, half-white Gibson Flying V guitar became iconic. Schenker’s hits include "Doctor Doctor" and "Rock Bottom." He often returned to UFO and collaborated with Scorpions, Aerosmith, and Ozzy Osbourne. Celebrated his 50th year in music with MSG's Immortal in 2021. Born from the Sunset Strip, Armored Saint fuses no-frills metal with a NWOBHM style. Known for 80s albums like "March of the Saint," they regrouped in '99 after a hiatus and released "Punching the Sky" in 2020. Influenced by bands like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, they've continued as thrash and hard rock pillars despite setbacks, including the loss of guitarist David Prichard.
