Midrift is a San Francisco, California-based alternative rock/shoegaze band formed in 2022. Comprising Gus Mehrkam (frontman) and brothers Manoa and Kai Neukermans, they blend shoegaze with emo and pop-punk elements. After their self-titled 2022 EP, they gained rapid popularity with viral hits. They continue to release new music, including 2025 singles "Safe And Sound" and "Reaching For You," and are actively touring.

Brooklyn's Mx Lonely crafts "grungegaze" and alt-rock, known for prominent vocals and clear lyrics. The band, featuring Rae Haas and Jake Harms, explores themes of addiction, neurodivergence, and gender dysphoria. Notable albums include "All Monsters" (2026), "Cadonia" (2022), and "Spit" (2024).
