Born in the Bronx and raised in Jamaica, Tarrus Riley is a prominent roots reggae singer known for hits like "She's Royal." He's collaborated with Sly & Robbie and Konshens, won several Reggae Academy Awards, and engages with African roots. Riley launched the Tarrus Riley Freedom Writers Competition to inspire youth and incorporates Rastafarian themes in his music.
