LineUp

Formed in Los Angeles in 1983, Dark Angel delivered complex, aggressive thrash metal and was known for the albums "Darkness Descends" and "Time Does Not Heal." The band, which included notable members like Gene Hoglan and worked with Combat Records, never broke the mainstream but was influential in the metal underground. After several lineup changes, they disbanded in the early '90s but left a lasting impact with records like "Leave Scars" and the live album "Live Scars." Guitarist Jim Durkin passed away in 2023.
After The Burial, known for their frenetic eight-string dual guitar riffs and dynamic chords, elevates extreme metal with their technically impressive, groove-laden attacks.
Maryland's Dying Fetus, led by John Gallagher, excels in technical death metal with grindcore elements. Known for albums "Reign Supreme" and "Wrong One to Fuck With," they hit Billboard charts and toured with Kataklysm and Behemoth.
New Orleans heavy metal band Crowbar, led by Kirk Windstein, blends sludge, stoner, and doom metal. Known for hits like "All I Had (I Gave)" and "Existence Is Punishment," Crowbar emerged in the '90s alongside Eyehategod and Down. Collaborating with Phil Anselmo, they gained fame with albums like *Odd Fellows Rest* and *Sever the Wicked Hand.*
Dweezil Zappa, born to Frank and Gail Zappa, is a musician known for his guitar prowess and preserving his father's legacy. Collaborated with Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, and starred in MTV. His Zappa Plays Zappa band won acclaim by celebrating Frank Zappa's music despite legal battles with family over its name.
