Shadows Fall, a Massachusetts metal band, blends progressive death metal with riff-heavy influences from Metallica and Iron Maiden. Formed in 1996 by Jonathan Donais and Matthew Bachand, they’ve toured with Fear Factory and Cannibal Corpse. After lineup changes, including Brian Fair joining as vocalist, they signed with Century Media and released albums like "Of One Blood," "The Art of Balance," and "The War Within." Their live shows, showcased in "Madness in Manila," and global tours have earned them a devout following.
Anthrax, formed by Scott Ian in New York, are pioneers of thrash metal, blending hardcore punk with metal. Known for humor-infused music, they collaborated with Public Enemy. Joey Belladonna joined after "Fistful of Metal," driving success with hits like "Bring the Noise." They reunited in 2011 for "Worship Music," earning Grammy nods. In 2016, "For All Kings" released, touring with Iron Maiden. Celebrated for their influential style, Anthrax's legacy includes a 2021 global livestream for their 40th anniversary.
The Black Dahlia Murder, born in Detroit, faced a pivotal moment after frontman Trevor Strnad's death in 2022. Co-founder Brian Eschbach took over vocals, debuting the new lineup in a hometown tribute show with returning guitarist Ryan Knight.
