Formed in 1979 to honor virtuoso bassist and composer Charles Mingus, the band blends gospel, New Orleans jazz, and New York vibrancy. With Grammy® nominations and ten albums, they captivate audiences with fresh, spontaneous performances, nurturing emerging talent and celebrating Mingus enduring legacy.
Please note the Loeb Playhouse is a historic venue. There are no elevators to the balcony. All patrons, including infants on laps, must have a ticket due to fire marshal requirements.
