LA-based new wave band Missing Persons, formed in 1980 by Dale and Terry Bozzio. Known for hits like "Words" & "Walking in L.A.," famed for MTV success with their space-themed style. Band included Zappa alumni.
NJ band Dramarama, blending hard rock, alternative, and punk, was formed in 1983 by John Easdale. Known for the hit "Anything Anything" and albums like Cinema Verite. Despite potential, they never had a major breakthrough, disbanding in 1994 but reforming in 2004.
Born Stacey Swain, Stacey Q rose to fame with '80s dance-pop hit "Two of Hearts." Originally part of SSQ, she struck solo success and stardom with a Madonna-esque style, later exploring acoustic and return to dance music.
