Formed in Jacksonville in 1971, Molly Hatchet combined hard-rock boogie with Southern rock. Their 1978 platinum debut and the multi-platinum follow-up, Flirtin' with Disaster, brought major success. Despite numerous lineup changes and member passings, the band continued recording and touring for decades.
