Mortiis

Mortiis is a Norwegian black metal musician who left Emperor in 1992 to launch the solo project Mortiis. He released solo records (1993–1999) and later albums The Smell of Rain (2001) and The Grudge (2004). The Great Deceiver arrived in 2016.
