Coal Chamber formed in 1994 in Los Angeles, breaking out of the alt-metal scene with a nu metal-leaning sound. Signed to Roadrunner, they released Coal Chamber (1997), Chamber Music (1999) and Dark Days (2002), split in 2003, and returned with Rivals (2015).

Mudvayne

Formed in Peoria, IL in 1996, heavy metal band Mudvayne is known for their unique pseudonyms and bizarre makeup. Their major-label debut, L.D. 50, went gold and won the first MTV2 Video Award in 2001. They are recognized for hits and albums like "Lost and Found," and they've toured with Metallica and Linkin Park.
