Los Angeles trio MUNA, formed in 2013, creates indie pop, synth-pop, and dark pop with 80s new wave influences. Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson are celebrated for their queer perspectives and anthems like "I Know a Place," "Silk Chiffon" (with Phoebe Bridgers), and "Anything But Me." Their albums include "About U," "Saves the World," "MUNA," and "Dancing on the Wall."
