Born in Los Angeles, Leonard Slatkin is a celebrated American conductor known for championing American, Russian, and British music. His notable roles include music director of the St. Louis Symphony, National Symphony Orchestra, and Detroit Symphony Orchestra. He holds six Grammy Awards and the U.S. National Medal of the Arts. Slatkin collaborated with top orchestras, recorded extensively, and in 2019, a Naxos recording was Grammy-nominated.
Israeli-American cellist Inbal Segev is renowned for her rich tone and technical mastery. She’s played with top orchestras, collaborated with Maazel and Mehta, cofounded the Amerigo Trio, and earned accolades at major competitions. Her Bach Cello Suites album is acclaimed, and her YouTube series has over a million views.
