Founded in 1931 in Washington, D.C., the National Symphony Orchestra is a celebrated American ensemble. Born in Russia, Daniil Trifonov is a celebrated pianist and composer known for his transcendent performances and astounding technique. Winner of the 2011 Tchaikovsky Competition, he has been praised by Martha Argerich and acclaimed critics for his unique blend of power and poetry. Trifonov premiered his First Piano Concerto in 2014, showcasing his inventive brilliance and individuality.
