The Grammy Museum is thrilled to welcome Neko Case, a three-time Grammy Award-nominated artist, to National Sawdust in Brooklyn for a celebration and discussion moderated by award-winning writer Hanif Abdurraqib about her music, creative process, career, and more, followed by a special live performance. Case’s latest album, Neon Grey Midnight Green [Anti Records], was named one of Pitchfork’s Best Albums of 2025 and praised as “an album that blossoms with awe.”
This event is part of the Grammy Museum’s New York City program series, which brings the Museum’s renowned education and public programs to the city. “A New York Evening With…” is generously supported by the Dawn and Brian Hoesterey Family Foundation.
Singer, songwriter, music producer, visual artist, and writer Neko Case is the consummate career artist—fearless and versatile, with a fierce work ethic and an unrelenting drive for creative growth. Called “one of America’s best and most ambitious singer-songwriters” by Rolling Stone and “essentially peerless” by NPR, Case is widely regarded as one of music’s most influential artists. Her singular voice, lyrical storytelling, and sly wit have earned her a devoted following among critics, fellow musicians, and fans alike.
In addition to numerous acclaimed and Grammy-nominated solo albums, Case is a founding member of the Canadian supergroup The New Pornographers and one-third of the celebrated collaboration case/lang/veirs with k.d. lang and Laura Veirs. She is the author of the New York Times bestselling memoir The Harder I Fight the More I Love You and publishes the Substack newsletter Entering the Lung. Most recently she is composer and lyricist of Thelma & Louise: A New Musical, personally selected by original screenwriter Callie Khouri to create its score and songs. The production is currently making its world premiere at the Young Vic in London, running through October 24.
