Band Background

Led by Jenard Andrews, son of trumpeter James Andrews and nephew of Trombone Shorty, the band came up immersed in second line culture. It was Shorty himself who pushed them to find their own sound. "This isn't practicing," he told them. "You're just jamming on some Rebirth. You've gotta find your own thing." They did. And people noticed.
