Bronx-born Samara Joy, raised on gospel and R&B, is a jazz singer and lyricist known for soulful, inventive jazz. She won the 2019 Sarah Vaughan contest and an NAACP Image Award.
Nicole Zuraitis is a 2X GRAMMY-winning jazz singer-songwriter and pianist based in New York. Known for her powerful voice and prolific songwriting, she won the 2021 American Traditions Vocal Competition Gold Medal. Her latest album, "How Love Begins," co-produced with Christian McBride, won Best Jazz Vocal Album at the 2024 GRAMMYs with all original compositions. She collaborates with husband Dan Pugach on the 2025 GRAMMY-winning "Bianca Reimagined" for which they wrote the nominated "Little Fears." Nicole supports pitbulls, mental health, and oceanic preservation.
Elvis Costello, born Declan McManus in London, emerged in the 1970s punk scene with the Attractions. Known for genre-spanning work, his hits include "Oliver’s Army." Collaborations span from Paul McCartney to the Roots. Critically acclaimed albums like Spike and Armed Forces highlight his diverse catalog. Grammy-winning, Costello remains a musical innovator.
Grammy-nominated clarinetist-saxophonist Anat Cohen, born in Tel Aviv, is acclaimed for her expressive virtuosity and improv. She has topped jazz polls and earned multiple Grammy nods. Known for albums like *Outra Coisa* and *Triple Helix*, she founded Anzic Records and tours globally. Cohen is a passionate educator, teaching at MIT and Stanford.
From The Pyre is a dark, character-driven album blending personal tales with mythic imagery of violence and renewal, featuring haunting lyrics about heartbreak and apocalypse.
