Born in Washington, D.C., Ginuwine is an R&B star known for hits like "Pony" and "So Anxious." Collaborated with producer Timbaland. Known for sultry vocals, platinum albums, and acting roles, he also joined Tank and Tyrese in TGT.
Next, hailing from Minneapolis, became late-'90s R&B icons with hits like "Too Close" and "Wifey." Known for suggestive lyrics and gospel-influenced harmonies, they achieved multi-platinum success with "Rated Next" under Arista. The group, mentored by Reverand James Grear, and Sounds of Blackness' Ann Nesby, worked with producers like KayGee and Darren Lighty. They released three albums before splitting in 2003. They reunited in 2018 with original members RL, T-Low, and Tweet.
Hi-Five, born in Waco, TX, is known for their smooth R&B style. They debuted on Jive in 1990 with hits like “I Like the Way (The Kissing Game),” reaching #1 on pop and R&B charts. Original members Marcus Sanders and Shannon Gill still enjoy success, with Treston Irby releasing music under Bronx Most Wanted. Faruq Evans and Billy Covington round out the group.
Case, an NYC native and '90s R&B singer, began backing for stars like Usher, debuted on Def Jam in 1996, and worked with top producers like Jimmy Jam. Known for hits inspired by Stevie Wonder and personal songs. Founded Indigo Blue in 2004.
Washington, D.C.-based R&B singer J. Holiday, known for hits like "Bed" and "Suffocate," worked with The-Dream, Rodney Jerkins, Ne-Yo, and earned chart-topping success.
