Nickel Creek, formed in San Diego by siblings Sean and Sara Watkins with Chris Thile, evolved from bluegrass to an eclectic acoustic mix. Known for virtuoso skills, three-part harmonies, and Grammy-winning album "This Side", they've collaborated with Alison Krauss and more, maintaining sporadic performances into the 2020s.
