Born in Germany and raised in Denmark, Niels Skousen is a renowned Danish singer-songwriter, actor, and poet. A central figure in Danish rock and folk for over five decades, he crafts poetic lyrics with introspective depth. His work includes albums like "Herfra hvor vi står" (with Skousen & Ingemann) and "Blæsten og Regnen". Skousen received the Dan Turèll Medaljen in 2023, alongside multiple Steppeulven and Carl Prisen awards.
