Formed in Amsterdam in 1974, the Dutch art pop band Nits became known for their creative stamina, singing in English, and constantly reinventing their sound across more than twenty albums. Early releases drew on new wave, before albums like Omsk blended pop with European traditions. Landmark releases include In the Dutch Mountains and the live set Hotel Europa.
