O Holy Night

O Holy Night is an annual festive symphonic Christmas concert presented by the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra and Cape Town Opera. Held at the historic St. George's Cathedral in Cape Town, South Africa, the event features a collaborative performance showcasing traditional and loved Christmas carols alongside classical masterworks by composers such as Handel, Mozart, and Bach. Supported by the Cape Town Vocal Ensemble, the CTO Children's Chorus, and VOX Cape Town, the concert series highlights regional musical diversity with select carols performed in Xhosa and Afrikaans, offering a rich and welcoming holiday celebration under the direction of prominent South African conductors.
