LineUp

Decrepit Birth, hailing from Santa Cruz, CA, blends brutal power with precision in technical death metal. Formed by Bill Robinson and Matt Sotelo in the '90s, they gained acclaim for intense live shows and notable albums like ... And Time Begins, Diminishing Between Worlds, and Polarity. Known for evolving their melodic ferocity, they've featured members like Tim Yeung and K.C. Howard, while collaborating with musicians such as Dan Eggers and Ty Oliver.
Atheist, formed in 1984 in Florida, pioneered progressive death-jazz metal. Known for complex albums like "Piece of Time" and "Unquestionable Presence," they faced adversity but gained lasting respect. Despite limited commercial success, they toured globally and collaborated with Cynic bassist Tony Choy. The tragic death of bassist Roger Patterson marked their journey. They disbanded after releasing "Elements" in 1993.
Origin, hailing from Topeka, Kansas, is a technical death metal band known for fast, punishing tracks. Formed in 1997, their acclaimed albums include "Antithesis" and "Unparalleled Universe". Guitarist Paul Ryan remains an original member. Key collaborations are with Cryptopsy and Dying Fetus. Vocalist Jason Keyser joined in 2011. Their 2022 album "Chaosmos" marked their return to the studio.
Germany-based metal band Obscura, known for their advanced, elegant style, made strides in the genre with hits like "A Valediction." Their album "A Sonication" continues this legacy, showcasing their creative evolution. Obscura is acclaimed for pushing boundaries and plans global tours to further their impact.
Fractal Universe, a French progressive metal band formed in 2014, is known for complex works like "Rhizomes Of Insanity." They've toured with Obscura and collaborated with Gojira's Christian Andreu. Their live shows feature saxophone, and they've played festivals like Hellfest and 70000 Tons of Metal. Their album "The Impassable Horizon" showcases their rich, evolving sound.
