Oh He Dead, a D.C. indie soul band, blends funk, pop, and rock with powerful vocals from CJ Johnson. Known for their electrifying live shows and genre-bending sound, they released the album "Pretty" in 2023, followed by "Ugly" in 2024. Their 2026 album "Vertigo" continues their soulful evolution, alongside singles like "The Weight" and "I Need A Man".

Kokayi

GRAMMY-nominated artist Kokayi, an improvisational vocalist from DC, blends Jazz, Hip Hop, Rock, and R&B. He is known for collaborations with Goldlink, Guillermo Brown, Steve Coleman, and Ambrose Akinmusire. He has been a music mentor and guest faculty at the School of Improvisational Music. Noted for his creative endeavors and contributions to over 60 titles, he is a recipient of the Halcyon Artist Fellowship, DCCAH Artist Fellowship, and Sister Cities Grants.
