His debut, "Depreciated," praised for raw honesty, was followed by "Heat Comes Down." Initially influenced by traditional fiddle music, he toured with a string band, shaping his communal music style.
6x GRAMMY nominee Yola, lauded for her soulful music, starred as Sister Rosetta Tharpe in "ELVIS." Known for "Stand For Myself," her guitar features in the Rock Hall of Fame.
