San Diego rock-reggae band Tribal Seeds formed in 2005 by brothers Steven and Tony-Ray Jacobo. They released debut album Youth RebelLion (2005), plus Tribal Seeds (2008) and The Harvest (2009). Representing (2014) hit the Billboard 200.
Born in the Philippines, raised in Italy and Hawaii, HIRIE is a U.S. reggae artist blending island roots, pop hooks, and diary-like lyrics. Her self-titled debut hit the Billboard reggae charts, making her the only woman in the Billboard Reggae Top 10 at the time.
Formed in 1998 by Harrison Stafford, Groundation blends roots reggae with jazz, dub, and global rhythms. Known for deep grooves, intricate musicianship, and socially conscious lyrics, they bring an improvisational spirit to modern reggae.
Reggae Rise Up Festival is a prominent American music festival series hosted by Reggae Rise Up, a leading festival production and promotion company. Originally launched as a flagship event in Florida, the festival has expanded nationwide to states including Arizona, Utah, and Maryland, bringing together a diverse lineup of reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, and alternative rock acts.
Original Koffee, born Mikayla Simpson in Spanish Town, Jamaica, is a Grammy-winning reggae, dancehall, and pop artist. Known for her positive lyrics and modern sound, she gained fame with hits like "Toast" and "Rapture." Her EP "Rapture" earned her a Grammy for Best Reggae Album, making her the youngest and first woman to win. Her album "Gifted" and collaborations with artists like Sam Smith showcase her versatile talent.
