Keith Carlock, an American drummer from Clinton, Mississippi, is celebrated for his unique style blending rock, blues rock, jazz, and fusion. A Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame inductee, he earned "Best Pop, Fusion, and All-Around Drummer" in Modern Drummer's 2009 Readers Poll. Carlock has collaborated with Steely Dan (playing on Grammy-winning "Two Against Nature"), Toto, Sting, John Mayer, James Taylor, and many others. He is known for his deep, organic groove. Recent albums include "The Sun Room" (2019) and "Common Ground" (2020).
