Paradise Lost are a Halifax-formed (1988) gothic metal band with over two million albums sold. Pioneers of the genre via albums like Gothic (1991), they later hit the metal mainstream with Draconian Times (1995) and explored doom-death and electronic sounds.

My Dying Bride

Yorkshire doom/death metal legends My Dying Bride blend heavy, romantic themes in hits like “Thornwyck Hymn.” With 33 years, award nods & key festivals, they remain vital.
