Paty Cantu and Matisse

Mexican trio from Mexico City formed in 2014, Matisse blend folk, pop/rock, and singer/songwriter ballads with contemporary production. Signed by Sony Music Mexico, they debuted with the 2015 album Sube, featuring La Misma Luna and Si Fuera Fácil.

Paty Cantú, born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, is a prominent singer-songwriter known for her Latin pop and rock fusion. Formerly of the duo Lu, she gained solo fame with hits like "Afortunadamente No Eres Tu" and "Goma De Mascar". Her albums include "La Mexicana" (2020) and "Sagitario" (2025). Cantú has collaborated with Alejandro Sanz and received MTV Latin America Awards. She is celebrated for her vivid vocals and emotional storytelling.
