Baton Rouge rapper Webster "Webbie" Gradney, Jr. signed to Pimp C’s Trill Entertainment and recorded Ghetto Stories (2003) and Gangsta Muzik (2004) with Lil Boosie. His solo album Savage Life arrived in 2005, followed by the Savage Life series.

Joseph Wayne McVey, known as Z-Ro, is a Houston, Texas, rapper celebrated for his bluesy, introspective Southern hip-hop. Noted for albums like "The Ghetto Gospel" and "Unappreciated," he earned recognition as one of America's most underrated rappers by The New York Times. Z-Ro is also known for collaborations with the Screwed Up Click and Trae tha Truth.
