Philadelphia's They Are Gutting a Body of Water (TAGABOW) began as Douglas Dulgarian's solo project, evolving into an acclaimed shoegaze band. Blending shoegaze with electronic and experimental rock, they are known for their intense live performances and albums like Destiny XL and the highly praised LOTTO. Dulgarian also runs the influential Julia's War Recordings label.
Ratboys are a four-piece Chicago band led by vocalist/lyricist Julia Steiner. Their sixth studio album, Singin’ to an Empty Chair (first for New West Records), spans power-pop and post-country, featuring “Just Want You to Know the Truth.”
Twisted Teens, originating from New Orleans, crafts a genre-bending sound blending garage rock, folk punk, blues, and Americana. Fronted by Caspian Hollywell with Ramon "RJ" Santos on pedal steel, their music features raw energy and sharp storytelling. Known for their unique style, they released the albums "Twisted Teens" and "Blame The Clown", featuring songs like "Is It Real?" and "Wild Connection". Their distinctive sound has garnered critical acclaim.
