He founded The Pedrito Martinez Group in 2008, earning a Grammy nomination. Notable works include "Habana Dreams" with Ruben Blades and "Duologue" with Alfredo Rodriguez, produced by Quincy Jones. He performed with Eric Clapton at the Crossroads Guitar Festival.
