Pentagram, a pioneering Turkish metal band formed in 1986 by Hakan Utangac and Cenk Unnu, gained fame with albums like "Anatolia" and "Unspoken." Known for blending Turkish themes with heavy metal, they faced media scrutiny for their name's satanic associations. Despite this, songs like "Anatolia" and "Infinity" became iconic, and they toured Europe, performing at the Wacken Open Air Festival. Their evolving style and collaborations with artists like Demir Demirkan and Metin Turkcan have made them leaders in the genre.

Lifer

Lifer, initially Strangers with Candy, won MTV's Ultimate Cover Band Contest in 2000. Signed with Republic/Universal, they worked with Rush's Alex Lifeson and had hits like "Boring." Their track "Breathless" was on "The Scorpion King" soundtrack. Members have joined Breaking Benjamin and Cold. The band reunited in 2018.
